Luther King, Jr. Weekend on Waikiki Beach
Where were you this past Martin Luther King Weekend?
During the month of January, the temperature in most
northeastern cities hovered somewhere around freezing. Meanwhile,
Honolulu residents enjoyed bright, sunny 80-degree days and balmy, clear
70-degree evenings.
Okay, now, where do you want to be next Martin Luther King,
Jr. Weekend? Take into
consideration the warm Pacific Ocean, spectacular tropical sunsets and
table full of mai tais and the answer is clear: It doesn't get any better
than January in Waikiki.
That's why the 2008
Congress of the Pan-Pacific Surgical Association (PPSA) will be held from
Jan. 19 to 21, 2008 at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel in Honolulu. Of course,
there are many more reasons for attending the PPSA Congress than spending
a January weekend on Waikiki Beach, but that certainly provides a great
place to start, doesn't it?
The 2008 PPSA Congress will feature distinguished speakers
from across the Pacific and the nation. The Congress also serves as a
focal point to bring together PPSA members in the spirit of international
fellowship, a vital objective of all PPSA functions.
