Surgeon Program
As a member of the Pan-Pacific Surgical Association,
the Volunteer Surgeon Program offers you an opportunity to provide surgical care
to patients in remote Pacific locations. During your visit, you can provide ongoing
medical education to the local physicians and medical staff. The patients will
also appreciate the expertise that you provide. And, of course, you will also
receive so much in return, enriched by knowing your visit has improved the lives
of many. Members have served in Kosrae, Pohnpei, Chuuk, Koror, Saipan and Yap,
either individually or as part of a team. All of the medical missions are fully
supported by the Pan-Pacific Surgical Associations Living Endowment Fund,
which is chaired by Trustee and Treasurer Allan Kunimoto, MD.
